The app is incredibaly lightweight compared to other competitors like Sophos, which caused one of our webservers grind to a halt. The intergration with Slack is quite useful at pinging the team immediatley when we have high level security issues.

We use CrowdStrike and Falcon Complete as our security partner. It is deployed across all desktop endpoints. It is one of our primary layers of defense with regard to security. It is managed by our head of security and some tasks are outsourced to other I.T. staff. Pros: The false positives are minimal for our I.T. staff. I think it's an innovative product. There is a large user base, which gives us some confidence in their reliability. Cons: Support - we are often tasked with running down problems rather than being directed by support. The sales staff we have dealt with are not very responsive or timely. I believe this is a product built for installations of 300 users or more.

We use it to monitor the machines connecting to our network. It scans activity for Malicious activity and determines the severity from low-high. We receive an email telling us what the hostname is of the machine that is effected. The Falcon Complete Team is also able to do things for us such as whitelist. Pros: The monitoring is great, and the emails we receive help determine when and if we need to do something on a specific machine. The service that the Falcon Complete Team offers is also helpful. I also think the recommended actions when Escalation: High Detection is determined are great. Cons: I have been doing an audit on machines that have or are missing Crowdstrike.

CrowdStrike is being used within the security department. It is installed on machines within the whole organization, but the only people typically looking into the platform are the security team. Systems team has access to the platform, but only log on as needed to update sensors or install new ones. Pros: Detailed explanations and break downs of detection. Allows for remote control of machines. Easy to deploy. Cons: Falcon isn't continuously scanning the machine, if something is downloaded and viewed as safe it won't be re-checked later. More dashboards and information on vulnerabilities on the machines would be helpful.

If I would suggest anything, is sometimes we see a response were a file is deleted, however there are still remnants of the file left in the user folders and files. Is that scanning?

Pretty easy to use, and it is very light installation on the client, specially if you do not have a very actual and robust configuration on your computers. I am still missing some features that we have on more traditional virus solution, but on the future, I believe that all the antiviruses solutions will follow this standard.

Easy Setup and Smooth Performance, but Room for Improvement

Setting up the product is very easy and straightforward. It begins working almost immediately and generally has little impact on system performance. The cloud console is also user-friendly and, in my experience, more pleasant to use than those offered by some competitors. Being fully cloud-based has its advantages and drawbacks. The main downside is the limited functionality available when offline, which leaves endpoint agents with few options in situations like remote work locations or while traveling on airplanes.

We used Falcon Crowd Strike as a competitor to Sophos when looking for replacements, it was so extremely sophisticated and advance it was a major competitor. It was going to be used by the whole of the group across 3 sites in the uk to be our main form of AV. It helps us become more cyber secure.
