Cookie policy

The short version

CrowdStrike Reviews sets one kind of cookie: Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows us which pages are useful. It sets them only after you accept in the cookie banner. We don't use advertising cookies.

Cookies we set

• _ga, from Google Analytics: tells visits from the same browser apart, using a random ID. Lasts 2 years.
• _ga_<ID>, from Google Analytics: keeps track of the current visit. Lasts 2 years.

Before you choose, or if you decline

Google Analytics runs in consent mode. Until you accept, it sets no cookies and stores no ID on your device. Google may still receive a basic signal for each page view (the page address, the time, and browser details) with no cookie or ID attached.

Changing your choice

The banner asks on your first visit. You can change your answer at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you turn analytics off, we delete the Google Analytics cookies this site set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works the same either way.

How we remember your choice

Your answer is saved in your browser's local storage as cookie-consent, not in a cookie, so we don't ask on every visit. It stays until you change it or clear this site's data. If you close the offer bar at the bottom of the screen on mobile, we note that in session storage (stickyCtaClosed) until you close the tab.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal: analytics cookies stay off and the banner doesn't ask.

Cookies from sites we link to

When you click through to CrowdStrike, their site may set its own cookies, including one that credits us with the referral. CrowdStrike's cookie policy covers those, not this one. See our privacy policy for the rest of what this site collects.
