CrowdStrike Falcon Complete review: is the managed service worth it?

CrowdStrike’s managed detection and response service, from its own terms and the customers who use it.

By Jean Luc Poitier, SEO and growth marketing strategist · CrowdStrike Reviews · Updated November 5, 2026

Quick verdict

Falcon Complete is CrowdStrike’s 24/7 managed detection and response (MDR) service: its analysts watch your Falcon alerts, hunt for threats, and remediate incidents for you. It fits organizations that want Falcon’s protection but have no one to staff a security operations center around the clock. The customers in our review corpus value exactly that, a team that acts on their behalf. The catches are a price you only get from sales and a warranty that covers ransomware only. If you have security staff who will work the console, Falcon Enterprise at $184.99 per device per year already includes CrowdStrike’s 24/7 threat hunting.

What Falcon Complete includes

CrowdStrike now markets Falcon Complete as “Agentic MDR”: its analysts pair AI agents with human review. According to its data sheet, the service covers:

  • Round-the-clock monitoring by CrowdStrike-certified responders and administrators, working follow-the-sun from several regions.
  • Threat hunting by CrowdStrike’s Falcon Adversary OverWatch team across endpoints, identities, cloud workloads, SaaS applications, AI agents, and third-party data brought in through Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.
  • Remediation done for you: the team contains threats, kills malicious processes, quarantines files, and removes persistence itself.
  • The Falcon Complete Warranty for ransomware, covered below.

What it manages depends on the Falcon modules you license, so the endpoint-only version and one that also covers identity and cloud are priced differently. CrowdStrike says its median time to contain a threat is one minute, with the caveat that results vary by incident. It publishes no response-time guarantee.

Falcon Complete pricing

CrowdStrike lists Falcon Complete on its pricing page without a price, next to a “Contact sales” button. The three self-serve bundles are the only ones sold through the online cart and the only ones on monthly billing. CrowdStrike also says Falcon Complete can be bought through Falcon Flex, its pre-paid credit pool for larger customers.

To judge a quote, set it against what running Falcon yourself would cost: Falcon Enterprise at $184.99 per device per year, plus the staff time to watch and act on alerts at night and on weekends. For the self-serve tiers in detail, see our CrowdStrike pricing breakdown.

The Falcon Complete Warranty

The Falcon Complete Warranty replaced CrowdStrike’s older Breach Prevention Warranty, though the pricing page still uses the old name. Under the current terms (January 8, 2026 version):

  • It covers ransomware incidents only.
  • It pays up to $2,000 per affected endpoint, capped at $1 million for customers with endpoint detection and response, or $2 million for customers who also have Falcon Identity Threat Protection.
  • It comes with an active Falcon Complete subscription and can’t be bought separately.
  • It applies only when your environment meets CrowdStrike’s required configuration, excludes files encrypted remotely over a network share or web application, and doesn’t apply where it would be treated as an insurance contract.

It is a ransomware backstop, so keep your cyber insurance.

What Falcon Complete customers say

Five reviews in our corpus come from Falcon Complete customers, on TrustRadius and Software Advice. That sample is too small to score. All five rate it 4 or 5 stars. A 2025 TrustRadius reviewer says the team acts on their behalf when an incident happens, applies policies, checks Windows patches against the agent, and verifies alerts around the clock. An older TrustRadius review describes alert emails that name the affected machine and a team that handles tasks like allowlisting. Software Advice reviewers from 2022 and 2025 credit the service with knowledgeable people and with securing their whole infrastructure.

The critical note comes from a 2025 TrustRadius reviewer who still gives it 4 stars: support left them running down problems themselves, the sales staff were slow to respond, and they think the product is built for installations of 300 users or more. The other complaints in our wider CrowdStrike reviews, a busy console and module costs, are the ones a managed service is meant to take off your hands, at its own price.

From each vendor’s own MDR service page and published warranty terms, checked November 5, 2026. None of the five publishes a price.

Every MDR service here runs on its own vendor’s platform, so the choice usually follows the platform. Sophos MDR is the common pick for small businesses that buy through a managed service provider, often with Sophos firewalls; see CrowdStrike vs Sophos. SentinelOne sells Wayfinder as an add-on to Singularity; see CrowdStrike vs SentinelOne.

Who Falcon Complete is for

Falcon Complete fits an organization that wants CrowdStrike’s protection but has no one to watch alerts at 2 a.m., or has an IT team that shouldn’t be spending its time on incident response. CrowdStrike offers it to small businesses as the managed alternative to running Falcon Go yourself.

Skip it if you already staff a security operations center that will work the Falcon console, in which case Falcon Enterprise with its 24/7 threat hunting is the cheaper fit. Skip it too if your budget needs a published price before you talk to sales.

Falcon Complete FAQ

How much does CrowdStrike Falcon Complete cost?+

CrowdStrike doesn’t publish a price. Its pricing page lists Falcon Complete with a “Contact sales” button, while the self-serve bundles run from $59.99 (Falcon Go) to $184.99 (Falcon Enterprise) per device per year. Falcon Complete isn’t sold on monthly billing or through the online cart, so the price comes from a quote.

What does Falcon Complete include?+

24/7 monitoring, threat hunting, and remediation by CrowdStrike’s own analysts. Its data sheet says the team contains threats, kills malicious processes, quarantines files, and removes persistence on your behalf. Coverage depends on the modules you license: endpoints, identity, cloud workloads, SaaS apps, and third-party data through Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. A ransomware warranty is included.

What is the Falcon Complete Warranty?+

Ransomware coverage included with an active Falcon Complete subscription: $2,000 per affected endpoint, capped at $1 million for EDR customers and $2 million for customers who also have Falcon Identity Threat Protection. It can’t be bought separately, applies only when your setup meets CrowdStrike’s required configuration, and doesn’t apply where it would count as an insurance contract.

Is Falcon Complete or Sophos MDR better?+

Neither publishes a price, so compare quotes for the same endpoint count. Falcon Complete is run by CrowdStrike’s own team on the Falcon platform; Sophos MDR is often bought through managed service providers alongside Sophos firewalls. Sophos’s published MSP warranty terms cap claims at $1 million; CrowdStrike’s warranty covers ransomware up to $2 million. See our CrowdStrike vs Sophos comparison for the platform side.

Is Falcon Complete worth it for a small business?+

CrowdStrike sells it to small businesses as the managed alternative to running Falcon Go yourself. One reviewer in our corpus, a Falcon Complete customer, felt the product suits installations of 300 users or more. If nobody on staff will watch alerts, a managed service is the safer buy; get the Falcon Complete quote and compare it with Sophos MDR through a local provider.
