CrowdStrike Falcon Review

Crowdstrike is useful for gaining information and control over the organization's devices. For me, the most useful feature of the tool is being able to view the granular and complete information on each device. Crowdstrike's detail allows for easy threat analysis, vulnerability reports, and the collection of useful information about each device at any given time. Also interesting is the ability to remotely control devices. This allows for easy diagnostics of enrolled devices and rapid action in the event of a threat. Automations are also very useful.

Our most trusted endpoint protection tool for threat detection and response

CS Falcon is our primary tool of choice for endpoint protection. It has a small footprint and impact while being highly intelligent and very well supported. With the majority of our users working in hybrid mode we needed a strong security control that could provide top-class protection with the minimum amount of False Positives (and, of course, of True Positives). Falcon provides full visibility on processes, communication flows and all sorts of activities that are happening on the endpoints.

Best EDR Tool

CrowdStrike Falcon is the best in class product with the ease of use and implementation. CrowdStrike Falcon sensors are installed in all our computers, servers. Easy to use and well optimized. It automatically detects any threats or files when any external source is connected, or any unknown file is downloaded from the web to keep secure the computer. It help to assure the right protection against hacker attacks and generally malicious activity which other tools wont detect like - Lateral movement, Kerberoasting, AD recon attacks etc.

CrowdStrike does what we need it to do

We use it to monitor the machines connecting to our network. It scans activity for Malicious activity and determines the severity from low-high. We receive an email telling us what the hostname is of the machine that is effected. The Falcon Complete Team is also able to do things for us such as whitelist. Pros: The monitoring is great, and the emails we receive help determine when and if we need to do something on a specific machine. The service that the Falcon Complete Team offers is also helpful. I also think the recommended actions when Escalation: High Detection is determined are great. Cons: I have been doing an audit on machines that have or are missing Crowdstrike.

CrowdStrike gives you the piece of mind to do business in an unsafe business world

Falcon was installed on all systems in an effort to support attacks. We were recently the victim of an attack and needed to quickly recover and get systems back up and running. CrowdStrike helped us do that securely. Pros: Stops breaches. Identifies unauthorized systems and applications, and monitors the use of privileged user accounts anywhere in the environment. Cons: Install limitations - Windows XP not capable.

Falcon - a complete review

CrowdStrike is being used within the security department. It is installed on machines within the whole organization, but the only people typically looking into the platform are the security team. Systems team has access to the platform, but only log on as needed to update sensors or install new ones. Pros: Detailed explanations and break downs of detection. Allows for remote control of machines. Easy to deploy. Cons: Falcon isn't continuously scanning the machine, if something is downloaded and viewed as safe it won't be re-checked later. More dashboards and information on vulnerabilities on the machines would be helpful.

CrowdStrike, the leader of EDRs

We use CrowdStrike Falcon to analyze alerts originating in our client's environment. These are purely security alerts based on information security use cases such as identifying persistence, exploits, lateral movement, pup based attacks and a lot other categories.

CrowdStrike Falcon Review

We use CrowdStrike Falcon to detect potential malicious activity on both end user computers and servers. Pros: Detects suspicious activity Shows exact location and processes involved in suspicious activity Isolate computers with suspicious activity Cons: Setting up on MacOS was more complicated than expected (as kernel extensions were being phased out) Remediation is not always as automated as some other systems (e.g. Malware Bytes)

Crowdstrike at its best, with small gaps.

We use Crowdstrike to protect the company's servers and keep them safe from as many threats as possible. Pros: Known malware detection. Software detection with malicious behavior. Identification of processes with anomalous behavior. Cons: User management in cases where the service is provided as an MSP. Clarity in console menus. Integration with third-party EPP.
